TAN CHONG MOTOR LAO INTRODUCES THE NEW NISSAN URVAN


July 2018 - Tan Chong Motor (Lao) Sole Co., Ltd. ("TCML"), Sole and Exclusive Distributor of Nissan vehicles and subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (Malaysia); officially introduces the New Nissan Urvan to the public today in Vientiane.



In his speech, Mr. Lim Chee Khiang, Country Head for Tan Chong Motor Lao said, "The Company's business plan in Laos includes expanding our Sales and Aftersales network to have better coverage in the market as well as introduction of more new models. Laos presents a promising market growth and Management expects a gradual and steady sales growth in the next few years. With the introduction of New Nissan Urvan, which is fully imported from Japan…, this symbolises the company's optimism in the local automotive industry".

The New Nissan Urvan is the fifth generation of Nissan’s popular 'people-transporter' aimed more towards commercial and business use with its functionality. Those present during the official event were impressed with the New Nissan URVAN product presentation that showcases the practicality and functionality of the vehicle.




New Nissan URVAN emphasizes on passengers comfort, as individual front and rear air-conditioning vents are spread evenly to ensure everyone in the vehicle remains comfortable even during midday sun. While, the passengers High Back Reclining Seats provides maximum support and full comfort.



The New Nissan URVAN also has high roofline for ease of entering and existing vehicles as well as ample spaciousness of headroom for all passengers and generous legroom while in seating position. Nissan-Tan Chong Motor’s sponsored team; the upcoming talented Young Elephant Football Club ('YEFC') full team which attended the evening event, prove the spaciousness and even felt comfortable sitting alongside with their coach and team manager as well.



On a separate note, as Tan Chong Motor Lao was saddened by the sudden news of the flood disaster and to learn of the loss of lives and the destruction of homes caused by the collapse of the hydropower dam in Attapeu province in southern Lao PDR on Monday night, 23 July 2018. Tan Chong Motor Lao has offered to provide aid in the affected areas to assist with the flood relief efforts by setting-up a collection corner in their showroom for general public who wish to donate any items inkinds. On-top of that, TCML have also organize a collection team to drive around, going door-to-door to assist in collecting donation items on-behalf of the public to be send to the Relief Collection Centre.
